This HBW brake kit upgrades the calipers and rotors to dual piston large GM calipers for reliability, increased brake performance and easier maintenance.

What else should I know?!
Prepare for CONFIDENT disc brake operation! This kit is bolt on but does require that you turn your hubs to allow your new rotor to slip over the hub. The dimension for hub machining is 7.850" We can supply new hubs that are turned (great option if you're converting a DRW axle to SRW), send us your hubs to be turned in our shop, or have a local machine shop turn down your hubs.
As an added benefit to this kit, the wheel track width is increased by 1" overall. This is due to the slip over rotors on the outside instead of the inside of the wheel hub.
Wheel Studs: You can reuse the stock studs, however if you plan to do this you must drill a countersink hole into the back of the hub at each stud hole to allow the stud to seat against the back of the hub. Alternatively, you can order the HBW-563 stud which is designed to solve this issue and work with thick aluminum wheels. We have provided a checkbox on the order screen to add HBW-563 studs. BONUS, the studs are discounted when you order with the brake kit. Save $$$
Note: This kit does NOT work with dual rear wheel hubs.
